Becca’s time-travel adventures ended abruptly after a single season, with VH1 renewing… and then cancelling… the ’90s-set dramedy. Star Sarah Goldberg — now an Emmy nominee for HBO’s Barry — tells TVLine that in a possible Season 2, Becca and her friend Lolly “were going to end up back in the future, but [Becca’s brother] Jamie was really in a bad state. Lolly saw in the late ’90s when his drug addiction got out of control, and she felt there was one moment that what she did was the catalyst for his path down that road.
